Victor Lindelof withdraws from Sweden squad for 'personal reasons'

As confirmed by Sweden's assistant manager Peter Wettergren, Victor Lindelof has withdrawn from the squad due to 'personal reasons'.

As quoted by Goal, Wettergren said in a pre-match press conference: "[Lindelof] will leave us tonight for private, personal reasons."

There hasn't been any mention of an injury after the Manchester United defender played full 90 minutes against Kosovo and Georgia.

He will miss Sweden's mid-week friendly against Estonia but it will give him plenty of time to get ready for the Red Devils' return to the Premier League against Brighton & Hove Albion on April 4.

As things stand, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have withdrawn from the England and France squads respectively because of injuries.
