Greenwood matches Cristiano Ronaldo record with impressive Spurs display

Mason Greenwood has matched an impressive record last managed by Cristiano Ronaldo for Man United in the Premier League after his goal & assist against Tottenham Hotspur.

Greenwood replaced Marcus Rashford to come on in the 72nd minute and made an immediate impact, assisting Edinson Cavani’s goal before scoring his own in added time.

Ronaldo was the last United teenager to come off the bench and get a goal & assist in the PL against Portsmouth in the 2003/04 season.

Mason has now scored 3 goals in his last 4 appearances (in all competitions) for the club – including back-to-back strikes in the league.
