Antonio Valencia has announced his retirement from football after enjoying a 19-year long professional career.
The Ecuadorian joined Man United in 2009 and spent a decade at Old Trafford – winning multiple Premier League titles, an FA Cup and Europa League with us.
He even captained the Red Devils for a couple of seasons and wore the no.7 shirt for a while too.
Valencia made 339 appearances for United, scoring 25 goals and registering 62 assists – while also sacrificing a lot to play in different positions like right-back.
So United fans have made sure to pay their respects to Valencia and poured a lot of love on Twitter.
