'I'm nervous about him': Gary Neville explains why Rashford might be dropped for Europa League final

“I wonder whether this could actually be Man Utd’s Europa League final team. It wouldn’t surprise me,” Gary Neville said (as quoted by Metro) when discussing Man United’s potential team against Villarreal.

“Rashford on the right doesn’t work and I think Pogba will play. I think Cavani will play up top, I think the midfield three is set and I wonder if Solskjaer has decided that Tuanzebe will play in that Harry Maguire position.

“I’m nervous about Rashford being left out but I think Greenwood is better there than Rashford. The balance is better. And I think Dea Gea will start in goal. You think about the service he’s given to the club.”

Marcus Rashford was benched for the game against Fulham after scoring against Liverpool. Edinson Cavani’s brilliant form makes him a guarantee for the Europa League final – but those beside him in the attack still remains a mystery.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already admitted that it’ll be difficult for Harry Maguire to be back for the final – meaning either Eric Bailly or Axel Tuanzebe play with Victor Lindelof. With the final now a week away, Ole will want to play his fittest players to help win his first trophy with United.
