Tom Heaton has agreed on a move to Man United in the summer once his Aston Villa contract expires, as per the Mirror.
The 35-year-old will join as a free agent and will provide back-up for David De Gea & Dean Henderson.
Sergio Romero and Lee Grant are both poised to leave as free agents in the summer – due to which United might be signing a new goalkeeper.
Heaton is a graduate from United’s youth academy having played at a junior level for many years - and could actually become the club's first signing of the summer transfer window.
The 35-year-old has made 118 appearances in the Premier League in his career – keeping 28 clean sheets.
