Fabrizio Romano: Heaton to undergo United medical soon - deal 'done and dusted' (reliability: 5 stars)

Fabrizio Romano has given his traditional ‘here we go’ to confirm Tom Heaton’s impending move to Man United.

The Englishman is said to be set to have his medical with United in the next few weeks – as the deal is ‘done and dusted.’

Heaton will be joining the club as a free agent and sign a two-year deal until June 2023 – with the option to extend it to 2024.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper spent a few years at Man United’s academy before moving away and earned some decent Premier League experience.

He has made 116 appearances in his PL career – keeping 28 clean sheets in those.
