Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez is going to push for a summer move to Man United, as per the Mirror.
It’s said that Atletico would be willing to sell Niguez in the summer and would want around £40m to sell him – even though his release clause is set at £60m.
Niguez wants to play in the Premier League with United and a move to Juventus is his second-choice.
While the Mirror isn’t the biggest source, an interesting quote from Atletico’s director general recently about Saul’s future probably adds value to this rumor.
He said (as quoted by DailyStar): “If Saul wants to leave Atletico there are no problems as long as the move is positive for all sides.”
Saul was part of Atletico’s La Liga winning campaign last season, making 33 appearances for them and being involved in 3 goals – scoring 2 and registering an assist.
