 got off to a rough start as some fans could be heard booing from the stands when the Three Lions players took the knee in a unified stand against racism.

I do think BLM as an organization does have a lot of flaws, but I don't believe this is connected to BLM. this is just raising awareness to racism. especially given the online abuse some players have received. They aren't saying this is connected to BLM as far as I know

I definitely understand that line of reasoning. although I believe that this is different. should we not play fred vs Man city because some of their fans don't seem to like his skin color? obviously not. (although we should probably not play fred for footballing reasons). I think this is a minority of fans and also the ones booing again I think it's either a misunderstanding of what they are doing/supporting or racism. If there are other reasons I'd definitely be willing to hear them.

Just so I can understand. What negative things will come from their kneeling? I do understand that the group BLM have some pretty strong political views that are disliked by many. (as are most political veiws), but I don't understand what the simple kneeling or fist raising before a football match could lead to positively or negatively. So to be against or for it so passionately seems strange to me.

I don't understand who's upset with this. in the US we have athletes kneeling during the national anthem and I think people get upset by that, but I'm not sure what people are angry about here? I've always thought it's a very nice but pointless gesture, but I couldn't think of any reason why someone would be booing during this though. The players are probably fed up as I am with the abuse at the stadiums and online, and don't know what to do other than kneel before the games.

Being that I'm a person with white skin I can understand some of your frustration, but I also know I can't understand the frustrations of people with black skin so I won't condemn kneeling or raising a fist if they believe it will help get rid of some racism. I think the larger problem is that for some reason there are people in powerful places who want to have people be divided. I find in life that the vast majority of people are good natured and don't look at you differently based on what you look like. If we put more emphasis on that and worked together to stop/educate the real racists in the world we would be a much better world for it.

blm is a radical socialist group who are hypocrits. when a black person kills another they have nothing to say. does that black life mean nothing or if a white person isn't involved it doesn't thier political agenda. people are becoming aware of that and want nothing to do with them.

Yeah, I don't think this has anything to do with BLM. I think the players are trying to show solidarity with those who have experienced racism. It's what they feel they can do to bring more awareness to the subject.

I already known, that's why I love Zaha because he knows kneel or no kneel Europe racist will not stop
