Jesse Lingard has taken to social media to wish the England team good luck at the European Championship despite being left out of the 26-man squad.
"When it comes to being involved with the boys and representing my country I’ll never stop smiling. I’ll be supporting the team all summer! Good luck to the lads! Bring it home," the Man United forward tweeted.
Lingard's last chance to get in the team was gone on Monday morning when Gareth Southgate decided to replace injured Trent Alexander-Arnold with Brighton defender Ben White.
It means that Lingard misses out on the squad despite having featured in each of the last five games for the country, including the two pre-tournament friendlies.
Now, the 28-year-old will have plenty of time to take care of his future, with West Ham reportedly willing to sign him on a permanent basis after an excellent loan spell.
