As per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta star Cristian Romero is ‘appreciated’ by Man United but they haven’t made any approach to sign him.
There were rumors floating around about the Red Devils being in talks to sign the Argentine star – but Romano says that the player’s camp has denied any approach from United.
Atalanta have denied any discussions taking place and neither have they receive a rumored €45m bid to sign him.
United are not seriously interested in signing Romero yet, even though they like his talents and share a good working relationship with Atalanta – from whom they signed Amad Diallo last summer.
The 23-year-old centre-back made 41 appearances for Atalanta last season – scoring 3 goals and registering 5 assists as well as helping them keep 11 clean sheets across all competitions.
