Jesse Lingard held a 'candid' talk with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about his future and is believed to have said that his heart 'still belongs to Manchester', reports The Sun.

West Ham are keen on signing him permanently after a brilliant loan spell in the latter half of 2020/21.

However, it looks like Lingard wants to continue with Manchester United, despite struggling for game time under the Norwegian boss.

Jesse was recently spotted wearing Declan Rice's England jersey, sparking speculation over a possible transfer this summer.

If the 28-year-old stays put at Old Trafford, it will be interesting to see if he can fight for a regular starting spot.
