Revealed: Jadon Sancho's possible shirt number at Man United

With an official announcement all that remains in the Jadon Sancho saga, there has been a lot of talk about the Englishman's shirt number at Manchester United.

United Stand editor Andy Mitten has reported that Sancho will wear the No.16 shirt when his move is finalised. The claim is supported by the National News as well.

Had he joined in 2020, Sancho would've gotten the No.7 shirt. However, Edinson Cavani was signed instead and was given the iconic number.

Cavani hasn't disappointed since then and it's been reported that he prefers to hold onto his shirt number.

No.16 was worn by former midfielders Roy Keane and Michael Carrick and most recently by Marcos Rojo - who has been in the news for hurling a fire extinguisher.
