Solskjaer reveals reason behind bringing back McTominay vs West Ham

When asked about his decision to bring back Scott McTominay in the big game against West Ham United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told MUTV: “He's [McTominay] always been a physical monster and specimen.

“He's fit and of course we want to get him going as quick as we can. He's missed a bit of football but the operation was needed and why not put him back in?”

He also gave an update on Jadon Sancho being benched, “Jadon’s [Sancho] started the Tuesday game and we found the decision better to leave him here now and the chance to come on and make a difference if we need him to.”

The gaffer also spoke about whether the team is under pressure to perform today after the loss to Young Boys, and added: “At United if you lose a game it is a crisis. I don’t pay too much attention to that. We have started the season well. Just imagine what it would be like if we came here with six points (instead of 10)”

Solskjaer will hope his side can maintain their impressive away Premier League run with another win on the road and get back to the top of the table.
