When asked about his thoughts on Jadon Sancho’s underwhelming start to his Man United career, Roy Keane told ITV: “It’s certainly been a slow start for him, it’s well and good doing well at Dortmund but it’s a different animal going to Man United, big expectations.
“Maybe overshadowed slightly with Ronaldo coming in but I’d always give the kid a chance, he’s been there a few months, nice opportunity for him tonight but give him a chance.”
Sancho was impressive at the international stage as he registered 2 assists in England’s 5-0 win over Andorra a few days ago.
With Marcus Rashford returning to fitness, the winger has to improve his performances and start getting regular goal contributions to cement himself as a regular for United this season.
