Speaking to Premier League Productions after the Tottenham clash, Owen Hargreaves said: "Credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players. He was brave and changed the tactics to a back-three with wing-backs.
"They had better balance, better control of the game and had two world class players at the top of the pitch in Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani, so they turned it around. It was a great performance.
"The attacking players decided it — Bruno Fernandes, Cavani and Ronaldo. For Ole it will be the most important thing, defensively they have been a mess, all season. A clean sheet will be big for Manchester United."
With his Old Trafford position in jeopardy, Solskjaer secured a 3–0 win against Spurs last Saturday after making a surprising switch to the 3-4-1-2 formation.
It remains to be seen whether the Norwegian will stick with the change in the Champions League clash against Atalanta on Tuesday now that Victor Lindelof is out with a knock.
