United 'told' they must pay £42m to sign Aurelien Tchouameni (reliability: 3 stars)

AS Monaco have informed any interested parties that they have to pay €50m (£42m) to sign midfielder Aurelian Tchouameni next season, as per Italian outlet Tuttosport.

Man United are reportedly interested in signing the French midfielder, possibly as a replacement for Paul Pogba next year.

However, they won’t get him for cheap as the Ligue 1 side hopes to get a large fee from his potential sale.

Apart from United, clubs like Chelsea and Juventus are also interested in making a move for Tchouameni next summer.

The defensive midfielder has excelled for Monaco this season and also played a prominent role to help France win the UEFA Nations League recently.
