United 'squad players' believe they've been misled by Solskjaer about playing time – ESPN

Some ‘squad players’ at Man United are growing increasingly frustrated over their lack of playing time at Old Trafford, claims ESPN.

A few squad players believe that they’ve been misled by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about the prospects of playing this season.

Solskjaer had assured his squad players of more opportunities after admitting he overplayed certain regulars last season.

But, the Norwegian has failed to keep up his word – not giving the likes of Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, and Eric Bailly their deserved chances.

Van de Beek will be seeking an exit in January if Solskjaer remains at United, while Lingard has refused to sign a new contract as he looks for more regular playing time.

Ole has struggled to rotate his squad properly and even played an unfit Harry Maguire over Bailly against Leicester City last month.

The lack of rotation has come back to haunt the gaffer, who has seen his side suffer 5 defeats in their last 10 games.
