Pochettino 'wants' to bring in two players to United
As per Spanish media outlet La Razon, Mauricio Pochettino will ask for Kieran Trippier and Jules Kounde if he's appointed Manchester United head coach by next summer.
Trippier's contract at Atletico Madrid will expire in 18 months, so he'd be affordable. Kounde, on the other hand, would be worth at least €70 million, while the release clause in his contract with Sevilla is around €90 million.
Bruce's agent contacts Man United
Steve Bruce's agent has contacted Manchester United to formally offer his client's services to the club, according to the Daily Mail, a tier-two source.
The 60-year-old, who was sacked by Newcastle last month, is interested in being appointed the interim manager at Old Trafford until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Man United speak to Rudi Garcia over interim job
According to journalist Andy Mitten, former Lyon manager Rudi Garcia has been interviewed for the role of an interim Man United head coach.
Garcia's Lyon side reached the Champions League semi-final in 2020 after they defeated Manchester City. He also won a double with Lille in 2011.
De Gea dedicated Villarreal win to fans
Man United are through to the Champions League Round of 16 and David De Gea has dedicated the Villarreal win to all the Red Devils' supporters.
The Spaniard told MUTV: "Champions League nights for the fans are very special. The away fans are always unbelievable. I'm very happy for them also, they deserve a result and, for sure, they enjoyed it."
