As much as l m happy fir the win , l would say Carrick has started his real serious challenge and test but he went through. Next real test is awaiting in form of chelsea and Arsenal. Even if he win those two games, l will still say get someone to see off the season not Carrick.

Congratulations to utd tesm for ucl quarter final. despite the win utd team still need an experience and tactical coach with winning mentality. The style of play adopted by Carrick group yesterday of counter attack is very dangerous bcos utd does not have a solid DEFENSE that can play that style. Utd need to adopt mass attack mass DEFENSE style of play bcos utd have quality players that can tackle effectively. I don't expect Carrick to adopt clueless ole method bcos ole does not know how to read games. It is unfortunate that utd cannot get see a quality coach in the market now except the likes of former German coach that has a good track record and Roberto Mancini who also a quality coach that has winning mentality even though he is currently coaching Italian team. Those are the quality coach that are readily available provided they are ready to come if contacted. It is painful that utd cannot get ZIDANE. conte and DIEGO SIMEONE now bcos these are solid COACHES that have good records at the club level and also winning mentality. Utd board and Woodward must do something fast bcos the Carrick group cannot really handle this utd team bcos they still BELIEVE in ole method of play infact they are part of ole advisers that fail to deliver so I dont really BELIEVE that they can change the team for good. What help them in yesterday's game is the use of the real professional attackers in front and midfield that can tackle and win ball back all the time apart from that lazy martial that cannot tackle or win ball back. The introduction of new players like van da beek is very good both him and sancho need more playing time including an experience Mata that was introduced late. The likes of libgard need to be given playing time too by rotating them. All what utd need are players that can tackle effectively and win ball back. The only two players that cannot tackle effectively are lazy martial and inconsistent Greenwood that lack stamina. Those kind of players cannot handle an Aggressive and ruthless team.
