Man United are weighing up the possibilities to strengthen their midfield, and one of the players they are apparently monitoring is Marseille's 22-year-old Boubacar Kamara.
The France youth international is a defensive midfielder who is also capable of operating as a centre-back. He intends to leave Marseille and is set to become a free agent next year.
Catalan media outlet El Nacional goes as far as claiming that United are 'in advanced talks' with Kamara, but no credible sources confirm the information.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also among the clubs monitoring Kamara, as well as an unnamed 'traditional top-four Premier League club'.
In the summer, Wolves and pre-takeover Newcastle were rejected by the player. Now, the Saudi-backed club intend to make another attempt to sign him.
Kamara has made over 100 appearances for Marseille since making his senior debut in 2016. He's also represented France from Under-17 to Under-21 level.
As per WhoScored, his strengths include passing, tackling and aerial duels while no significant weaknesses are mentioned in his profile.
