David De Gea — 7.5
The Spaniard continues to save Manchester United's hide time and time again. Another game where the Red Devils owe the result to De Gea's many saves.
Victor Lindelof — 5
The centre-back looked very rusty in what was his first game in over a month. Gifted Ollie Watkins a chance in the first half but was better after the break
Scott McTominay — 6
McTominay headed in the only goal of the game early in the first half but was largely absent for the remainder of the game, failing to control the midfield.
Fred — 6.5
The Brazilian was one of the most consistent players on the pitch, finding McTominay with a wonderful cross. Fred was also energetic in his pressing.
Marcus Rashford — 1
One thing is clear: there's something not quite right with Rashford at the moment. The woeful forward should not have even been on the pitch against Aston Villa.
Edinson Cavani — 5
Cavani suffered from the lack of service but there were hardly any individual moments of brilliance from the Urugayan striker. Had a deflected shot saves.
The rest: Dalot — 5, Varane — 6, Shaw — 5, Greenwood — 4, Bruno —5.
Subs: Van de Beek — 6, Lingard — 5, Elanga — N/A.
