Juventus step up Martial interest & 3 more latest under-radar stories at Man United

Napoli refuse to match Tuanzebe price tag

Napoli are only willing to pay €9–€10 million to sign Axel Tuanzebe permanently after his loan spell ends at the end of the season, according to Area Napoli.

This is quite a significant drop compared to the €20 million fee demanded for the centre-back by Manchester United who are open to selling the player.

Juventus want Martial

According to 90min.com, Juventus have held talks with Man United about signing Anthony Martial on loan with an option of making the transfer permanent.

The Serie A giants are looking for attacking reinforcements now that Federico Chiesa is out for the rest of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Real Sociedad interested in Mata

As per The Sun, Real Sociedad are hoping to persuade Man United to release Juan Mata as a free agent in the January transfer window.

However, doing so would require Mata to forego his wages for the next 6 months. Sociedad are keen on signing Mata because of his big-game experience.

Ronaldo ready to play on Saturday

Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to feature against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday after missing the midweek FA Cup clash against Steven Gerrard's side with a minor muscle injury.

The Portuguese said: "I'm good. I just have a little touch but, you know, it's part of my work. You know, we have to feel some pain sometimes. It's nothing big and I hope to be good soon."
