Juventus director reveals their stance on Martial loan signing

Addressing the rumours that Juventus are negotiating a deal to sign Anthony Martial on loan in January, their sporting director Maurizio Arrivabene said: “With current conditions [he means loan fee + full salary paid] it's not a feasible deal for us.

“Considering certain numbers, there are no advanced talks - we don't expect any discount from Man United.”

This comes after it was reported that the Serie A giants were ‘keen’ on signing Martial as a replacement for the injured Federico Chiesa.

But the Frenchman’s £250,000-a-week salary demands are again proving a major thorn in an exit.

United themselves also wants a loan fee of over £5m to issue the move, something which not many clubs want to pay.

For now, Martial will look to continue under Ralf Rangnick at United and has been included in the squad for the Brentford clash on Wednesday.
