Neville wanted Woodward to sign Cancelo

Ed Woodward has ignored transfer advice from Gary Neville who wanted the executive vice-chairman to compete with Manchester City for Joao Cancelo.

Neville told Sky Sports: "I had him as a very young player at Valencia but you could just see exceptional talent. I made calls back to England — and you can imagine which club at the time — saying that if you are ever going to take a young player, that is a young player you would take."

Cadbury issue statement on Greenwood

Cadbury, a c multinational confectionery company and Man United's official partner, have released a statement regarding Mason Greenwood's arrest.
