Without a chance to defend himself ? Justice gives him a chance to defend himself and he has exposure, not once has he given his side of the story or tried to clear his name. He just silenced people’s voices… 
Pretty sure he knows he’s at least a bit guilty and is trying not to incriminate himself more.

What you also have to remember is that Greenwood was already catching a lot of Hell because he took to many shots instead of passing to the CR7 so he already had hate almonst some sections of fans you can see it in their comments... I can't vouch for other teams fans but there are some very dumb people supporting United...

He will have a chance to defend himself ....that's the way it works .....and In my opinion  if he is found guilty they should throw the book at him .. No excuse for hitting a woman especially one you supposedly care for . 
The problem is if he is found not guilty ..he's in the shit ...cos media will not report that on page 1 ...but bury it deep .
And he will always have those who say " no smoke without fire " and his life will be scrutinised..

The hate was so much that nobody even tried to look at the whole scenario holistically.
It was basically ‘his head on the platter’ without hearing his side of the story. It was shocking.
A young man’s life ripped to shreds without even a chance to defend himself. 
I wrote how I felt and how the criticisms were too sudden and boy! Some folks almost tore me to shreds. The heat was much but from my analysis, the lad would be set free; and I pray he finds the solitude to forgive those he trusted the most.

I think the focus should be more about finding out the truth regarding a VERY serious allegation. Rather then people spreading hearsay and conjecture and labelling it as opinion…
