PSV started the second half strongly and scored twice in the space of 90 seconds, completing the comeback and making it 2-1 in the 50th minute.

Ajax pushed hard for an equalizer but were extremely unlucky not to get it despite mounting some brilliant attacking moves.

They also had two goals ruled out due to very close offside decisions in both halves, frustrating Ten Hag & co.

Erik’s hunt for a trophy this season continues as Ajax only have the Eredivise title to win this season. 

Ajax general manager Hamstra: 'We are doing everything possible to keep Ten Hag'

 general manager Gerry Hamstra was asked about 

 before their Dutch FA Cup final against 

He said: “There is interest for Erik ten Hag, that is normal. He has done fantastic. We hope he stays. We have to stick with the facts, he has not left yet. He still is focusing on Ajax, so do we.

“We did everything possible [to keep him at Ajax]. New contract offer? Yes. Offered more money? Yes. Everything that goes with that, without going into detail. We were very busy with that. 

“He reacted that he is focussing on Ajax now. Now we are preparing for two scenarios, Ten Hag might stay or might leave.”

Ajax are taking a diplomatic route amid the interest from Ten Hag, as they don’t want to confirm his impending departure because the club are still fighting for two trophies.

The Dutchman is expected to be confirmed as United’s new manager before the end of the season after

Londark I like the all round optimism but I am cautiously hopeful which I have expressed before. The high expectations on TH can bring a lot of pressure on him and this maybe an early warning signal. 
Yes let's agree Ajax played well but hope we are ready for playing well but losing. Who took the trophy today? PSV played just on Thursday yet won.

You will agree that if it was Poch this space would have been flooded with outrageous comments about his inability to win anything as if he has never won it or it's not football. No one and I repeat no one will agree it wasn't their day. It will all be Poch's fault. But TH is the "chosen one" by the fans so he can do no wrong.

Like I have said repeatedly I honestly hope the board gets this appointment right and not based on media or fans bias. We can't go on like this with constant explanation at pressers why we performed poorly and had to rely on the GOAT who some condemned as "old and finished".

Whoever watched the whole match (like I did), know that Ajax were the better team. Some things needed to be done better, but overall, they deserved to win.
It just wasn't their day. 
It changes nothing for us, seriously, chill.

Why won't they flood Twitter?
This issue has split the fans. Are the TH's fans forgetting how they jumped on this space celebrating the exit of PSG from UCL and putting all the blame on him and calling him unfit for Man Utd even when TH too was eliminated by lesser Benfica?
Was there anything like luck or bad refereeing even when goalie was pushed down by Benzema? 
Now Poch will win the Ligue 1 title and a cup while TH may not win any trophy as Eredivise title is still open.
A coach is as good as his last results. That's why JM is at Roma😄😄. It may be the distraction and pressure of the new job for TH but that's also not good signs about his ability to cope with pressure. TH is easier and cheaper to sign right now and trust our penny pinching board to go with that moreso fans are supporting it.

Mark you I don't have an issue with him coming if he is appointed. I will support him.
My choice has always been Luis Henrique. Sadly he ain't available right now. If I had the power I would rather wait for him.
