According to The Telegraph's James Ducker, a tier-two reporter, Erik ten Hag is hoping to bring in four new players to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Ideally, Ten Hag is eager to sign a versatile striker, at least two midfielders and a centre-back before 2022/23 begins.
A report from Fabrizio Romano, meanwhile, has stated that United will 'focus' on bringing in a quality striker before assessing how many more players could be signed.
So far, Frenkie de Jong is reportedly close to becoming Ten Hag's first signing at Old Trafford.
Several departures are expected as well, with players like Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba to exit on free deals.
With the wage bill freed up, one can only hope that the Glazers back Ten Hag financially to bring the players he needs.
