What is more astonishing is that Kornetka didn’t receive any money for his job as this was an unofficial, unpaid role.

The Lokomotiv man had compiled clips on United’s performances and their opponents which were displayed in team meetings.

Kornetka’s work surprised some within the club, considering the Red Devils have their own performance analyst – Marcel Brand – who has access to multiple camera angles and data during games.

Rangnick reveals what type of players United should sign after dismal season

 said: “There could be more togetherness on the pitch and this is important when we think about new players.

“We need to make sure that they are not only team players but they have the quality to strengthen the squad. They also need to be players who invest into the team spirit.

“The most important thing is we find player for whom [United] is the best next sporting step in their career. They shouldn't want to come because it's Manchester United, because maybe they get a good contract here. It should be for developing their career and taking their next best step.

“If that happens you have a completely different level of energy and motivation. This is what we did at Red Bull and I think we fared well with that.

“This is a different quality [of player] we need than we did at RB Leipzig but they won the cup yesterday even though they were one player down. They could only do it as a team. This is important that we build a team that really deserves the name 'team'.

“Even in hard times they stick together, they stay together, they fight back. This is the most important part.”

United are expected to have a busy summer window after the dismal 2021/22 season. 

 will want a lot of signings, while Rangnick will consult him on the kind of players that should be signed and which of the current ones that are worth keeping.

No way we all know what Ten Hag Enrik has done we know he knows his Job, Ralf Rangnick was using the scripts of a coach in America, Ole did his Job but like any other manager he lost track when he brought racism in the team, poor team selection, Jose did his part but it was time to go. I wonder where you guys get your updates from, these players where great players before they came to this messed up club, these same players do very well when they go to their countries, is it still not obvious to Y'all that the problem is the club? and neither the players or the club? players are expecting to develop when they play in a club, but haven't you guys noticed that utd players are the only players not developing?. Bruno has def.not been himself this season but there is no excuse as he has also caused his negativity to rub onto his team members who have also been miserable in their own way..a horrible season as a fan.
