Facundo Pellistri compared to Lionel Messi after heroics for Uruguay in Venezuela thrashing

 last summer and the youngster has impressed quite a lot of people since then. 

He got his first international start in Uruguay's 1-0 win over Paraguay last week and retained his spot in the 4-1 thrashing of Venezuela as well.

Pellistri reveals how his 'baby signature' nearly ruined Man United move

“All the documents had to be reprinted and signed again. We had to wait a long time for confirmation. United had to ask for an hour as an extension to the deadline.

“I was so worried because if the paperwork was not right, I could not sign for United but I also wouldn’t be able to play for Penarol.

“My girlfriend kept refreshing United’s website to see if I had signed. Finally, she shouted, ‘Look! Manchester have put you on their page!’ We all started to celebrate.”

It might’ve taken some time, but Pellistri was able to join the Red Devils from

Now, you all know why Ten Hag made the signing of a defender his main priority. He has seen what we have in the attack and he knew how to explore them...let us just remain calm and allow the man do his job without any distraction. GGMU!!! I am already raring for next season!!!😆

United fans are desperate in these times to cling to positivity and rightly so as we get so little.
But if there's anything our club and the Glazer's have taught us is to be skeptical of everything at our club including our players.
So when I see moments of brilliance like what Pellestri did, I'm not going to get hyped about it unless I see this on a regular basis.
I can hope, but this could mean nothing in the long term.
