Ronaldo not in United training for third day straight, club 'doesn't know' if he plans to return

 training on Wednesday. He's skipped the third session in a row now.

On Monday, he did not return to training as expected, citing 'family reasons'. The club has reportedly accepted it. He was spotted training in Lisbon.

Man United 'still don't know' if they should expect him on a Thailand and Australia tour that begins this Friday.

It was reported by multiple sources that Ronaldo wants to leave the club as he wants to play in the Champions League.

United stepped backwards when they signed Ronaldo. We were progressing, finished 2nd the season before, added Varane and Sancho and was expecting to do better when season starts. Someone should tell me something positive from this whole Ronaldo signing aside Sales. He came for personal glory, to get better numbers than Messi and say Ronaldo returned glory to Man Utd if we won the league. He cost Ole his job and you simply cannot name a player that got better after Ronaldo joined. If he loved the club he'd stay to help take it back to where it was and not disappear cos he figured the task is more difficult than it seemed. He should leave the club ASAP. Honestly Ronaldo has let some of us terribly down after supporting his return unconditionally. Some fans actually said his return was detrimental to the club and has been proven right. He has come to disrupt the rebuilding,gotten his fat pay as usual and treating club with disdain😡😡
What you said is exactly my point that he should have met with the club and told them.

I imagine one of his sycophants must have put this idea in his head to move as he cannot play in Europa if not this guy knew the situation when the season ended over a month ago and he restated his desire to stay and "help" the team return to it's past glory rather than talking about missing UCL or lack of ambition. He also knows for sure TH won't give him unlimited game time because he won't be able to cope with TH style.
He just wants to be with a club at the top where others will do all the work and he will fit his selfish personal glory into that.

All kind of permutations are being made without being realistic. Barca that cannot pay FDJ's stipend will have money to pay him. They have not even been able to sign Christensen due to financial issues. Chelsea is a no go area.

Apperntly he did informed club about his desire to leave back in January, and in April Mendes offer his service to PSG, so isn't that they didn't know, just decided to ignore and do shit about it. Can't support what he does now, obviously, but can understand his reason, club show no ambition to change current state, so far bought only unproven LB and 30 years old that last year barely survived heart attack, at same time five first players left club and few more are likely to follow. It's just mess at all fronts at moment... Hard to find anything positive to say.

To be honest I belive that love for money is what upset him now and what bring him back,  pretty sure that Real is club of his heart not United, we would not ever try to buy him back if he was not about to go to City. Either way blame go to both sides, even if club knew about his wish to leave, he should stay professional at least for sake of image, and club failed him badly, imagine being CR and have Maguire for captain, enough to want to run away.

Fully agreed with you. I had supported him wholeheartedly when he is back hoping he would bring the team to another level but as commented by his Juv's teammates, his presence was actually detrimental to the whole team as the manager had got to change the whole gameplan to accommodate him, at the expense of others. He might hv cost the sacking of Ole as well as the minutes of other strikers bcoz he refused to be rotated or substituted. It's a painful lesson to learn as it's our worst ever season eversince am diehard fan of MU for 40 years. I can forgive him for the bad season after signing him but not the way he just walk away from the team citing the club's lack of ambition in reinforcement & not willing to play in UEL. It's pure arrogance & disrespectful to the club, to the new manager ETH, to the teammates & us, the global fans.

I was one of them that was totally against him returning but after we signed him I said I will back him and the club until he starts to show his real colors and it didn't take long at all.. But the straw that broke the camels back was when RR wanted to sub him and his arrogant behavior showed just how much of a self centered individual he is.. We need to do whatever it takes to get him out if it means he goes to Chelsea we need to just get rid and look forward without him .. People saying we should do everything to keep him like how is that possible when he wants CL football but we are in Europa.. In a way I'm happy we didn't get CL just to show how much of a bitch he really is..

Agreed. He seized every minute for gametime thus most of our goals were solo through him, unlike the previous season we scored many goals thru teamwork. Even if he stays, ETH will not build the team around him. Whether we hv or without him, ETH needs younger players to take charge at the forwardline bcoz our gameplan will be like Dutch's total football, attack & defence as a team, no one is given privilege to be exempted from the role.

I maybe wrong but I belive I had read that CR wanted Poch to take the job.. I don't think ETH cares for CR anyway something also happened on the touch line between the two when Ajax played Juve..

It does not auger well for him. He should have informed the club earlier about his plan for the Club to scout for replacement. If he really loves the club should plan for an exit amicably instead of AWOL like now.
