Erik ten Hag confirms Phil Jones and 2 Man United players won't be sold this summer

In his latest press conference, Erik ten Hag was quizzed about Manchester United signing more players before the transfer deadline.

The boss replied: "I don't know. We need players, clear, but we need the right players.

"The whole transfer window, we are happy with what we did until now but the bar has to be high."

When asked about Brandon Williams, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones, he added: "It can be but we are talking about players who are not available so I don't think they will go out in this window."

While Williams is recovering from an injury, Jones and Tuanzebe remain out of the manager's plans for now.

Offloading them would have been ideal but having a couple of extra players could benefit Ten Hag as the season progresses.
