Phil Jones left out of Man United's Premier League squad
Man United have not included Phil Jones in their 25-man Premier League squad for the 2022/23 season.
Instead, the likes of Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams have been selected by Erik ten Hag.
Hannibal receives Tunisia call-up
Hannibal Mejbri has been called up to the Tunisia senior squad ahead of their upcoming international matches, as per an official statement.
The Man United youngster, who is currently on loan at Birmingham City, has 16 international caps to his name and only three first-team appearances for his parent club.
Man United eyeing Jan Oblak move in 2023
According to French outlet Jeunes Footeux, Man United want to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak next year.
The 29-year-old's contract expires in 2023 and the Red Devils are ready to double his salary and offer him a whopping €18m-a-year wages.
Pellistri urged to leave United
Quoted by the Daily Express, former Tottenham player Gus Poyet explained: "[Facundo] Pellistri will struggle to get game time.
"It would be good for him to go somewhere and play because the World Cup is around the corner and he is very important for the Uruguay team because the coach has lots of faith in his ability, he’s a proper winger.
"He needs to find a place to play. Look at Luis Suarez who is playing at Nacional week in week out, training with the first team and getting game time three months before the World Cup. Pellistri should do something similar."
