United fans have backed Michael Carrick to succeed at Middlesbrough. The former midfielder was confirmed as head coach of the Championship club today.
Carrick was caretaker coach of Man United for three games, picking up two wins and a draw. Man United wished their former player well: "Best of luck in your first permanent managerial role, @Carras16. A magnificent opportunity".
United fans believe he will be a success at Boro. Some compared him to Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Jurgen Klopp.
