Klopp's record with Liverpool this season worse than when Solskjaer was sacked

Liverpool have not had the best season in 2022/23 so far and are likely to finish outside the top four if their poor spell continues.

Interestingly, Jurgen Klopp's record is worse than what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had when he was sacked by Manchester United towards the end of 2021.

Klopp and co are ninth in the standings, with just 16 points from 12 games. In comparison, Ole's side were seventh and had 17 from as many games.

Liverpool have registered four wins, four draws and four losses but Solskjaer had won five along with two draws and five losses.

The Merseysiders were beaten 2-1 by Erik ten Hag's men at the beginning of the season, which ushered in a new era under the Dutchman.
