European Super League failure & more: expert provides 3 reasons why Glazers are finally selling Man United

The Glazer family are finally open to selling Manchester United, it was officially confirmed earlier this week.

And Alex Richards of the Mirror believes the Americans are ready to end their 17-year-old ownership for three key reasons.

The reporter wrote: "It's down to failure to get the European Super League off the ground, arrival of Saudi Arabia at Newcastle and price paid for Chelsea."

An American consortium, led by Todd Boehly, purchased Chelsea for £4.25 billion earlier this year. The Glazers, meanwhile, are reportedly looking to sell Man United for around £6–£8 billion.
