Tactical analyst explains why Christian Pulisic to Man United on loan could make a lot of sense

Manchester United are reportedly interested in taking Christian Pulisic on loan in January, ESPN claims. United are in dire need of an attacker following Cristiano Ronaldo's departure and Pulisic has been suggested as a potential short-term replacement.

His versatility across the front line makes him an appealing option, especially with Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial hampered by inconsistency or injuries.

But would the 24-year-old make sense for United? Tifo tried to answer this question in August when Pulisic was briefly linked to United.

Jj Bull, the analyst for Tifo, said that the thing Pulisic is best at is instinctive play — winning the ball high up the pitch to instantly create an opportunity. The American is an energetic player who can dribble, a valuable skill for transitions and something that Erik ten Hag might appreciate.

However, Pulisic isn’t that good when he has time on the ball as his decision-making in these situations isn’t the strongest.

Check out the video and keep in mind it was recorded in August when Cristiano Ronaldo was part of the team:
