Ole was nowhere near good manager for united, he might be good for a mid table team but united was too much for him. When every single opponent sings to keep him that tells you a story. The season we finished second with him, we were lucky that many top teams had massive injuries and it was behind closed doors which suited our players.  But I wish him all the best and will always like him as a legend of this club

I thought I was the only one who who reasoned Ole's issue like this.
Ole was getting it right...
finished 2nd in the premier league
Europa league runners up
FA and Carabao Cup semi finalists
Started the following season on a very strong foot, but then we brought in Ronaldo and everything fell apart.

The season when we finished 2nd, we were 10 points ahead of city in winter but nonetheless finished the season 12 points behind city. And there was no Ronaldo for this abysmal drop of form. If Ole had been a good manager he would have finished that season lifting the trophy. The only thing he achieved that season was not suffering a drop of form as important as Liverpool’s. 
And he’s had more years at the helm than game plans. He was poor and showed it time and time again.

I didn’t think Ole would eventually get us over the line but there was less drama, good mood around the team, we needed more players, better players and when Ronaldo joined it didn’t help. So if Ole were to join a top team I’d bet on him to succeed.

If he doesn’t have really pacy players, not a chance 

Atleast he was climbing the ladder. Imagine from mid table to finish third and then second! Played final for the second biggest competition.

Even Pep knows the work Ole did, Ole might not be as strict as Hag but we started having problems when we brought Ronaldo back. It wasn’t Ronaldo’s fault either, the board wanted him not Ole, something I’m hoping won’t happen with Hag.
