Sir Jim Ratcliffe enters race to buy Man United

Ineos has entered the tender procedure to buy Manchester United. Britain's richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the owner of the chemicals company.

A spokesman for Ineos confirmed that Ratcliffe is officially in the running to buy the club from the Glazers. "We have formally put ourselves into the process of biddng for United," Ineos representative said.
