'I don't understand': De Gea believes Arsenal have unfair advantage over Man United

David De Gea was not pleased during the post-match interview after drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

He was upset about conceding a late equaliser and also hit out at the Premier League for Manchester United's congested fixture schedule.

De Gea said: "One of our best players [Casemiro] cannot play one of the best teams.

"I don’t understand why we had to play today and they didn’t, that could make the difference on Sunday. He is a big loss for us."

Reflecting on settling for merely a point amid a race to closing the gap with Arsenal at the top of the table, the Spaniard added: "We conceded in the 90th minute. It's tough to take but I think they [Palace] deserved it to be honest.

"In the second half we didn't play well. In the first half, we did play well as we created a lot of chances. We scored a great goal.

"But from the beginning of the second half, we lost the control of the game.

"We gave the ball away a lot of times and we started giving away fouls close to the box, they had their chances and then they scored a great goal. They deserved it but we dropped two points today."

Casemiro is suspended from facing Arsenal after being shown a yellow card against Palace.

The Red Devils also have a crucial two-legged Carabao Cup semi-final coming up along with an FA Cup tie, meaning the team won't get a break anytime soon.
