Although some Man United supporters have reacted to the news positively the majority of the fanbase is concerned about our club being owned by an oil-rich monarchy with a terrible human rights track record.

Another major investment in the buying of the club would be the redevelopment of Old Trafford which is expected to be affordable for the bidders as well.

Their main contender is likely to be Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a childhood Man United fan and Britian's richest man, who was the first to publicly announce his interest in buying the club.

They expect a consortium to emerge from Saudi Arabia, despite the Saudi Public Investment Fund already owning Newcastle United.

Personally I don’t mind if some mega rich Qatari buy United, but there are some conditions:

1. Should be transparent, accountable, and compliant to any UEFA and Prem Leagues regulations.

2. Should manage the club professionally

3. Should be committed to and respect the club’s tradition and legacy

4. Should be committed to renovate the stadium

5. NEVER RENAME OLD TRAFFORD INTO SOMETHING STUPID!

I don't think there is anything wrong with have oil-rich owners. All they have to do is follow the rules and we are fine.

some fans forget that Man utd apart being a soccer team , is also a business company with ambitions to make money . if the new owner comes and wants to invest why are you complaining or you dont know what you want . with Glazers we were complaining that they dont invest , they only taking benefit from the revenue now someone who will come and put a lot of money to fix all the infrastructure  , attract big players but you still complaining .
