What happened between Alcaraz and Casemiro when Case was in tears after red card – spotted

Casemiro was gutted to receive his second Premier League card of the 2022/23 season in Man United’s 0-0 draw against Southampton.

The Brazilian was sent off in the first half after Anthony Taylor looked at the VAR screen and decided he had to go off for a dangerous tackle.

Casmeiro was on the verge of tears after being sent off again and had to be consoled by some of his teammates.

Surprisingly, Carlos Alcaraz – the player he fouled – was also one to give him a consolation.

It appears that Alcarez knew that Casemiro’s tackle was not intentional and felt bad for him.

Case will now miss the next four domestic games because of this being his second red card of the season.
