'Would do great at a club like West Ham': Fans tell United to part ways with one footballer

During the international break, Anthony Elanga has openly spoken to the Swedish press about his frustration with the lack of playing time at Man United.

"It is frustrating. You want to play, it’s important. But whether you play or not, it’s up to the coach, not me," he told Aftonbladet while also saying that he has been receiving advice from Erik ten Hag.

However, while some Man United supporters feel for Elanga, there's a notable portion of fans who believe that the winger should leave the club - as seen in the comments section on The Athletic.

Jason C: "I honestly think Elanga's best position would be right back or right wing back. Don't think he's good enough as a forward player. He played right back against Palace under Rangnick for 30 mins, when ETH watched on. That's the best I've seen him play in a Utd shirt. Otherwise he needs a season away on loan!"

Conor D: "Not good enough, currently. Loan him out and monitor his development, then decide. More than likely, he needs to move on in the longer term. Isn't good enough for a squad with PL and CL ambitions at his current level."

Anonymous U: "This boy's development has been mismanaged. I hope he will not be another Chong.

"Loan him out for a full season at a club where he will play regularly. That he is not good enough for United does not mean that he is useless. Hanging around the United squad for 3 years has done him no good."

Govi T: "Absolutely great work ethic whenever he steps on the pitch, but maybe a bit too one dimensional/predictable for us if we’re trying to challenge for major honors? He would do great at a club like West Ham/Everton/Villa."
