Revealed: When Man United will decide Mason Greenwood's future

 once the FA Cup final is done and dusted this Saturday. 

No more information is provided as to whether or not the odds are in his favour to play for the club again. 

Greenwood has been out of action since being accused of rape, assault and controlling behaviour by his then-former partner Harriet Robson. 

Police investigated the case for months, during which Greenwood was suspended by the Red Devils. 

However, the charges have since been dropped and now he's believed to be

 since January last year, when he was arrested and subsequently charged with attempted rape, controlling behaviour and assault.

The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed in February this year that all charges against him were dropped. The CPS cited the emergence of new evidence as well as the withdrawal of key witnesses from the case as reasons behind them not proceeding with the matter.

United are currently conducting an internal investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding Greenwood’s delicate situation. Only after the inquiry’s conclusion will a decision on his return be made.

Should the youngster eventually return, it will be a massive boost for Ten Hag's side who are short of options in attack.

Juve are believed to be in the lead for the Englishman and have already reached out to his representatives to gauge his interest.

Greenwood's United contract runs until 2025, and the club are concerned that they will struggle to receive big-money offers for the forward. 

It is believed they would be willing to send him out on loan as long as the club he joins agrees to cover his £75,000-a-week wages. 

Juventus believe their pursuit of Greenwood could be helped by having his former team-mate Paul Pogba at the club.

Greenwood and Pogba shared a dressing room for several years in Manchester, and the young striker may be tempted by the opportunity to be reunited with Pogba in Turin.

Pogba moved to Juventus on a free transfer last summer after his United contract expired, although his first year has been significantly hampered by a knee problem that forced him to miss the World Cup.

Juventus may also feel they have a strong chance of signing Greenwood due to the player's stance on his United future.

Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault in January 2022, and was immediately suspended by United.

The alleged charges were dropped in February, but Greenwood is yet to return to first team training while the club carry out their own internal investigation.

Let us all hope it is that soon and in his favour. It would be a shame to lose such a talent and I'm sure he would soon be back up and running. We need a young talented player like him to bolster our attack.
