Jadon Sancho hasn't lived up to expectations since joining Manchester United in the summer of 2021. His performances have not lived up to the hype that was expected and he hasn't been able to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup.
According to reports from sports publication TEAMtalk, Borussia Dortmund is currently leading the race to sign him and bring him out of Old Trafford. The 23-year-old was signed for £73 million from Dortmund after a long transfer saga, with high hopes that he would excel at Man United.
German outfit BILD has reported that Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, is in constant contact with Sancho's agency, suggesting that Dortmund is a serious contender to re-sign him.
However, his contributions have been far from impressive, especially compared to his outstanding performances at Dortmund, where he accumulated 76 goals and assists over two seasons.
Emerging talent Alejandro Garnacho is making a strong case for himself in the starting lineup, and Marcus Rashford is expected to return to the wings once a new striker is signed, which could further diminish Sancho's chances at Manchester United.
