Andre Onana is on the verge of joining Man United and he didn’t suddenly become famous with his Champions League final outing. One Man United fan earmarked the Cameroonian for an Old Trafford future as far back as four years ago.
Isiah Madrigal wrote on Twitter on March 29 2019: "[Onana is] a GK we could be looking at in the coming years.
"From Ajax much like Van Der Sar. I’m sure he’s learning a lot from him already and I think if De Gea were to leave, it would be the perfect replacement."
At this time, Andre Onana was at Ajax having been promoted from the reserves. He would go on to win three Eredivisie before joining Inter Milan in 2022.
In Italy, he won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana and reached the Champions League final.
Onana is expected to join Man United as De Gea's replacement this window as predicted by the fan.
