Why Rashford, Bruno, Maguire and co. yet to join pre-season squad: explained

The pre-season is underway at Manchester United this summer with the Red Devils beating Leeds 2–0 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the likes of Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are yet to join up with the rest of the squad.

This is because the trio — along with a number of other-first-team players — were involved in international clashes last month.

However, even though some players were given an extra three weeks of vacation, they are still working hard and training on their own.
