According to multiple sources, Man United are reluctant to overpay for the transfer of Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The Red Devils have placed a transfer fee limit of £60m, over which they are unwilling to pay for him.
That is the highest ceiling they’ll offer and are ideally hoping to get a deal done for much less than that.
Man United believe that Atalanta's value of over £85m for the striker is unrealistic and they won’t cave to such demands.
The Red Devils are monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani as an alternative and will make a move for him if the Hojlund deal falls through.
They are also open to considering other forwards who are not natural no.9’s to help improve their frontline.
