Sorry, disagree re Kane. He's not a natural red, he's to slow and he's over priced and out of contract next year. Silly money for a guy at the twilight of his career who may well be a disruptive element in the dressing room (we've already had players who think the world revolves around them and it just doesn't work) and there is no guarantee that he would fit with our style of play. We have had our fair share of over priced superstars.

In contrast, when you consider how much time we are likely to get from Hojlund, we have a better prospect of getting our money's worth from him. If we did pay £85M for him that a possible £17M per year over 5 years - not bad value for an exciting prospect I'd say. Also don't underestimate the ability of our gaffer to bring the best out of young talent. It's much easier to bring ability  and a mode of play out of a young player than it is with an older player who is very set in his ways aka CR7 as an example.

I understand where your coming from but your missing the point, IF Hojlund can be successful and that's a big IF/gamble for someone who has only scored 10 goals!! At least with Kane he will get you 25 plus goals a season easily with no gamble!!
