Three decision-makers at Man United allegedly in favor of Greenwood's return to first-team squad – including Ten Hag

Man United are close to making their final decision on the future of Mason Greenwood after completing their investigation into his allegations.

As per The Athletic, CEO Richard Arnold had told staff around the club that he was planning to bring Greenwood back to the first team earlier in August.

He is satisfied with the prospect of bringing Greenwood back after the investigation's results, under some conditions.

Arnold reportedly wanted a video recorded detailing the reasons behind their decision to bring him back. Moreover, in his plans, the CEO didn’t want Greenwood to make any appearances with the Manchester United Foundation.

Apart from that, Man United’s director of football John Murtough and manager Erik ten Hag are also supportive and encouraging of his return.

The gaffer is open to inserting him back to the first-team squad and giving him a new lease on life at Man United.

The Red Devils are yet to make a final decision on the Greenwood situation, but should make their verdict clear soon.
