Up to 8 games missed: Man United could be without Andre Onana for crucial part of the season

Andre Onana has made his return to the Cameroon national team after falling out with the manager at the 2022 World Cup.

For Manchester United, this means that they could be without their first-choice goalkeeper during the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.

Should Cameroon beat Burundi on September 12 and qualify, the Red Devils will be without Onana for a month in January and February 2024.

Man United games Onana could miss because of AFCON

Premier League: Tottenham (home, January 13), Wolves (away, January 30), West Ham (home, February 3), Aston Villa (away, February 10).

FA Cup: fourth-round tie (January 27).

EFL Cup: semi-final first leg (January 8), semi-final second leg (January 21).

Champions League: Round of 16 first leg (February 13, just two days after AFCON final).
