Ten Hag: 'I know we have a lot of work to do but we can enjoy this victory'

"We are relieved," said Erik ten Hag in his post-match interview.

"We remained patient, we continued to push, even after the goal refused. I'm really proud of the team."

Praising his team for the 2-1 win over Brentford, the Manchester United boss added: "I know we have a lot of work to do, but we can enjoy this victory. We have a good team, we have great players.

"What I tell them is to not give up. We were losing, but the conviction was still there. They also showed patience and calm. They kept pushing and we had opportunities."

Thanks to Scott McTominay's last-gasp brace, the Red Devils have earned three precious points in the Premier League after consecutive losses.
